Co-Founder
Mike, in a starred career, worked not only for Aston Martin but also for Bentley, Jaguar, BMW and Rover. Primary responsible for the delivery of the engine’s performance into production. This role involved specifying and developing engine inlet systems, valve trains, combustion chamber and exhaust systems. To enable the calibration tuning of the car to deliver performance in all temperatures, altitudes and conditions.
At Aston Martin, he was responsible for delivering many major engine programs into production. As a software development, drivability and engine management development engineer Mike is expertly positioned to navigate Aston Martin for software for diagnosis, and calibration for our thoroughly engineered upgrades.
Co-Founder
Adrian, prior to Bamford Rose and Aston Martin, ran a renowned motorsport preparation company specialising in chassis handling, braking and dynamics. This expertise carried through to Aston Martin where he worked in the test and verification department on chassis, brakes, traction, dynamics, and control stability for prototype development.
An expert in chassis and control Adrian has pioneered Bamford Roses fast road geometry set up, the big brake upgrade and the retrofit of Bilstein suspension (with its specialist geometry set up) that is offered in our ultimate suspension upgrade.
Lead Workshop Technician
Matt previously worked in production and quality sign off for Aston Martin. It’s this discipline of taking a framework of acceptability and measuring each car against this that has been extended to Bamford Rose in our own renowned quality inspection, vehicle service and framework sign off procedures.
Matt’s experience of working under pressure in many successful motorsport teams has made him adept at installing Bamford Rose upgrade solutions right first time for our customers.
Paintshop Technician
Our bodywork expert, Gary, formally worked for Aston Martin in the exacting discipline of prototype paint spraying and process/quality improvement production line spraying. Skills which he has brought to Bamford Rose to ensure that all bodywork is undertaken to the highest standards possible.
Technician
Jamie joined us in 2017 as our first homegrown apprentice and has been working under Bamford Roses master technicians as he completes his technical qualifications and apprenticeship.
Today Jamie is following confidently in Adrian and Matt’s footsteps as a competent technician, apart from his dodgy taste in shorts.
Fabrication / Upgrade Technician
Matt started off working for RS fabrications, the producer of the Bamford Rose designed Exhaust Manifolds. In 2014, when Bamford Rose took the decision to bring manufacturing in house, we took Matt with us.
